I thought a lot about this post the other day when I sent it out on Facebook and instagram. How often do we fight against our own insecurities of life? A LOT. I am sure I am not the only one who constantly is fighting my own thoughts.
So here is my “make no excuses or apologies post”
This is me. I am a mom just trying to get it together each day. What you will find when visiting our blog? A lot of mommy stories, follow some dreams posts, continuing to be a hairstylist posts, and learning something new each day posts.
I can’t guarantee I will even have the best professional pictures taken or the best makeup, or even the best hair, despite all of my training.
I cannot offer a “sit on the edge of your seat” type of post when it comes to my writing. What I can offer?
The down to earth REAL ME. Our stories and journeys through this life. Our messy house with toys everywhere and dishes in the sink that can wait to be done.
You are welcome to journey with us through this thing called life as we share our happy experiences and the times that bring me more grey hairs.
I am far from perfect and can hardly stick to a set schedule but this is our life and the real us sharing it with you.
I cannot and will not clean my house just to capture a sweet moment with the kids.
I can’t pretend that my kids are always dressed in cute clothes because half the time they are in diapers and whatever hat they find to wear.
This is our life and who we are.
Hopefully through the pictures, experiences and stories of passions we have will help you see the real us. The us who enjoys lounging on the couch after snacks, who enjoys swimming every chance we get, the us who will take pictures without getting ready and the us who love every moment we encounter.
Life is beautiful. I am coming to understand that I was meant to share my passions and stories with those I have never meT. Blogging does not have to be scheduled at specific times each day. It is a way to share stories and the reality of life’s ups and downs while hopefully helping someone somewhere along the way.
I am learning to love who I am and where I am at in my life. I was blessed with the most amazing kids and a husband who loves us so much. Our life is crazy (and I mean CRAZY) but you know what?
We love it. I may not be where I thought I would be in life. But I love the moments we are in each day.
This is our story and it is just beginning for us. I hope that this gives you a glimpse into our life- our crazy trying to get it together life. This is who we are and that is enough.
