Ya’ll know its Wednesday. That means a hair tutorial. But that will have to come tonight. I just had the hardest time getting a move on this morning.
I tossed and turned last night. However, I woke up this morning, did my yoga with the kids and drank a Healthy Pumpkin Pie Smoothie inspired by Sugary Sweets
Because I put a face on for my kids despite my feelings. We continued to do Preschool like always, had one..or two.. Sofia the First movie after lunch and played our little hearts out with friends. That is always my favorite because like you saw on instagram my littles take amazing naps when they get out and about with friends…parks…outside in general.
I am not one to get political AT ALL on the blog and I won’t do so here today. But I will leave you with a quote that has been on my mind and a few goals I have added to my list for fall.
“Children must be taught HOW TO THINK, not what to think.” – Margaret Mead”
Preschool Activity (30 day challenge for moms coming soon)
-Construction paper red, white, and blue
-Scissors for mom and child
-Coloring Crayons (for younger toddlers who have an attention span of a fish….haha)
Our activity was kept simple enough today. All you need is construction paper and toddler scissors.
We cut out squares (me) and little slivers of white “stars” and went glue crazy. It was fun for the kids and kept them busy enough for mom. I found bulk glue sticks awhile back since the kids leave the lids off of them all the time! But try it out and have a little fun!
My November Goals (Added)
-Have Family Pictures Taken
-Go visit a haunted house before they end (husband not me!) ha -Break out the hot chocolate for mornings
-Go hiking on the weekends (or explore new trails)
-Do more research on preservative free foods (Allergies has happened big time for my little boy and he breaks out! )
-Go to the zoo while it is nice
-Take more walks in the evening with dad
-Go to the park more
-Apply Cider…Need I say more?
-Teach my kids more one on one
-Work hard to finish the semester with decent grades…
-Be more positive this season
-Build better relationships with those around me
-Stay in touch better with family (mine and his)
Thats a good list, and I am sure I am sure I need to be better at many more things. But for now I will leave you with that. It is the middle of the week, so lets finish it off a little more positive, a little more humble and a little more patient with one another.
What do you have planned this week?
