Happy Sunday my dears! I am incredibly excited to finally get some hair posts done this week. The last time we saw one of these it was for Holiday Hairstyles! So you know it was due for some hairstyle posts. I have to be honest, this style has been my go to and favorite way to curl by far! I might say that about all the styles but this one Loose Curled Hairstyle is at the top 5 on my list of favorites right now! I wore it and someone asked where my hair extensions were from ha ha! Nope all mine!
I have really long layers right now because I have been afraid to cut my balding postpartum hair. So it just keeps getting longer. Before I get to the style, I promised I would talk about what I have been using each day for making my hair feel more manageable.
After our last baby my hair was ten times worse than it had ever been after kids. it was frazzled, breaking off, and just too hard to comb because it would fall out from breaking off. So a friend told me about how much she loved her Living Proof Repair products and I figured I would give it a try the next time I needed to get shampoo!
It was such an awesome product, I have no idea where it had been all my life after babies! I got the travel pack which was smaller but allowed me to test it out before really investing in the line until I saw results. I began by shampooing & conditioning with the repair line. Immediately it allowed my massive curls that had been nesting together to loosen up and let me curl through it in the shower. I have alternated using the shampoo and using the Repair Mask once a week.
Once I got out I toweled dyed my hair and put the repair cream and perfecting spray in before drying. I blow dried my hair like normal (which went a bazillion times fast since I didn’t spend that time combing out the crazy knots!) and once dry applied the perfecting spray once again for calming down any fly aways.
Since using this line for even one month, I have noticed a difference in how my hair feels, and looks! Having curly coarse hair I always wanted to have that shiny look without the whole “is it greasy” look going on ha ha! So I was so excited when I started to see my hair calming down and beginning to get stronger where I was loosing it the most.
I bet you are wondering where the stinking video tutorial is right? Ha! Me too! So until it finally uploads, head over to my Hair & Makeup Facebook group and watch it there!
